EMBROIDERY PROCESS

The embroidery process is long, tedious and intricate. The patterns are a mix of Zardozi and Aari embroidery. Zardozi is a type of heavy and elaborate metal embroidery on a silk, satin, or velvet fabric base. Aari is a type of embroidery that utilizes a hooked needle to create intricate and delicate designs.
Our skilled artisans have spent countless hours honing their art to contribute to the longevity of cultural heritage in an ever-evolving realm of fashion. Maintaining our commitment to cultural sustainability, we do not view our artisans as our employees. They are artists deserving a fair wage and fair working conditions. This is why we work with them on a quote-by-quote basis and adjust our production timeline to the time required to create the works of art.
